Protective film is selected for a specific glass and safety task. It may help retain broken-glass fragments under specified conditions; the result depends on the film, glazing, frame and installation system.
Specify the intended task and request the exact material’s test documents. Check film thickness, glazing compatibility and whether edge attachment is required.
What would you like to improve?
- Glass-fragment retention if glass breaks
- Selection for residential or commercial glazing
- Review of the complete glass and frame system

Choosing the material
Compare light transmission, solar performance, reflectivity and glass compatibility using the technical sheet for the exact model. A film’s darkness alone does not describe its heat protection.

1. Describe the task
Prepare photos, approximate glass dimensions and the location in Tbilisi. Explain whether heat, glare, privacy or glass-fragment retention matters most.
2. Confirm the specification
Agree the film model, compatibility with the glass, visible appearance, price and installation schedule. Ask for the scope of preparation and any access requirements.
3. Plan installation
Agree access to the glazing and protection of nearby furniture. Confirm the drying period and when the glass can first be cleaned for the selected material.
4. Keep the care instructions
Request the manufacturer’s cleaning instructions and written warranty terms. The website advertises up to 10 years; confirm the coverage and duration for your chosen film and work.
Frequently asked questions
Does film make glass unbreakable?
No. Film is not a replacement for a complete safety assessment. Ask what the selected system is tested to do and its limitations.
Is ordinary tinting a protective film?
Do not assume so. Safety performance must be supported by the specification and testing of the selected material and installation system.
Can the general price table be used as a final quote?
No. Request a quote for the selected protective film, glazing and installation requirements.
